Robot Riddims

Shoulders of Giants, w/ Phil Mesly
Tuesdays at 11pm

Come work our your angst before you go to bed. This is 97.3 The Bay's post rock collection, and it's not like anything you've heard on a commercial radio station.

Smorgasborg, w/ Haydn Watters
Mondays and Thursdays at 7pm

Multi-media veteran Haydn Watters brings you Smorgasborg, The Bay's delightfully misspelled alternative music show.  Don't let this vague classification be off-putting; Smorgasborg defies genre, playing the best of everything from rap to reggae, ska to electronica. Let Haydn, a talented musician who grew up in a musical mecca, refine your musical tastes and expose you to the alt-classics you need to hear.

The Source w/ Parker Cumming
 Tuesdays at 9pm

At King's, we spend so much time in the past, it's sometimes easy to forget what is happening in the real, modern world. Tune in to The Bay's political and current events source so that you don't sound like a fool when discussing who won the Republican primaries.

Sportacus, w/ Jake Saltzman & Zack Ackerson
Sundays at 7pm

Sportacus is King's only sports radio show, brought to you by seasoned radio personality Jake Saltzman and newcomer Zach Ackerson.  Clearly, King's is a sports-oriented community *cough* that will love Sportacus' extensive coverage of hockey, football, and everything in between.  Jake and Zach promise a hilarious show for all listeners with heated arguments and ridiculous anecdotes.

Wastelands, w/ Bulldog Bolduc & Silas Brown
Mondays at 9pm

The Wastelands, named after the poem by TS Elliot, is dedicated to bringing forth the finest spoken word to the ears of King’s students.  Featuring both contemporary and old school spoken word, as well as original pieces, Wastelands is proven to make students perform 80% better on oral exams.

Yesterday's News w/ Dumaresq Dupencier
Tuesdays at 9:30pm

We've taken your history textbooks and pulled out the interesting bits. Dumaresq is dedicated to bringing you a brief history of today - Yesterday's News is a fascinating tour of the more important things that happened on this day in history. Tune in and then impress the people around you like the pretentious King's students you are.

Young Adult Friction, w/ Chizz & Sean
Wednesdays at 9pm

Young Adult Friction is hot, sexy, family fun. It's the audio version of Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Only good this time. This is one hour of the most eclectic mix of local hfx, punk, doo-wap, folk, pop, alternative rap, space-hop, Disney favourites, and one hit wonders you've never heard of before. You'll be filled in on local events, shows and parties to get the most of your weekend. Call-ins, mini rants and Sean Young's chocolate voice are the icing on top. What more could you ask for?
